Hello there.

How are you? Me, I am fine.

After years of creating online content in a variety of forms and guises since 2007, I slowly shifted all my creative output to this method.

What we have here is a creative hub where I do all my work. I essentially open the door to my own creative process, keeping you updated Monday to Friday (occasionally other times as well when I run out of days) on where we are at.

For your part, you are funding this and get full access regardless of how much you pay. The minimum tier is $1/£1 - which is the minimum amount allowed on the platform. The thinking behind this is that I don't price out anyone. Like an honesty box, those who can afford to/wish to can pay more to subsidise that, and anyone can choose a custom pledge if they so wish. Think of the tiers as short cuts for your selection.

All of the thousands of previous posts are immediately unlocked for anybody that subscribes, regardless of the amount.

What you get in return is a varied and eclectic work ethic and production. There is a tab of Collections where things are grouped together for ease of navigation. Here you will find new and previous podcast series', all my art, all my writing, prop building videos, animation, stories, the complete making process of The ParaPod Movie, vintage Peacock & Gamble shows and scripts, and much more... a huge amount of very varied content.

As well as all this collected work (which is added to in real time), there are regular projects filling the weeks;

Cabin Fever is my weekly Patreon podcast where I get you up to date on where everything is at in my working (and often personal) life, and at the end of the month we have the Cabin Fever Run, where I present a week of daily podcasts with a more focused and interactive theme, with daily listener interaction. In 2023 we visited space, did a variety show, formed a doomed circus and worked out the secret of happiness. The video accompanying this page sprang from the Cabin Fever Run, and features supportive patrons who kindly filmed themselves for inclusion. Please don't think you need to grow a beard to join in here though.

New episodes of the Loopholes podcast are premiered on Patreon way ahead of time, and there is another podcast with Kate Cherrell called Impertinent Questions. This is a late night calm chat, where we answer questions from a 1930's card game, making for a far more relaxed, soporific podcast that's great thing for having a breather (but not great for when you're driving).

Very Hard Talk is a monthly current affairs parody podcast where I have an argument with Jon Williams about the topic of the day, proving that I could have also sold out and become a hard-talking-shock-jock if I'd taken leave of all ethics and morality. In this podcast I do it for fun and mischief though.

On joining you get access to a bespoke RSS so can listen to these on the Patreon page/app or using the RSS with your podcast provider of choice.

In addition to the projects listed above, as of January 2024, the projects in production are Loopholes Series 2, an animation series called The Rocky Robot Show (the titular character also makes occasional attention-seeking videos to disrupt my Patreon page), a documentary podcast about the vintage Star Wars toy collecting community called "It's Not A Toy", and a series of stories under the banner of Tales From Castle Diablo which are done in both prose and occasionally comic strips. I also do tons of art, videos and general writing.

You're probably getting the gist that I'm consistently trying to learn new skills (animation, art, comic strips etc) and creating new and varied content. This is where I do all that, and where you can see it.

It's genuinely very packed, and I work as hard as is humanly possible here all year round.  I don't switch off or not bother some weeks, I don't have a break for Christmas or a holiday. I absolutely believe in the concept of direct supply to those who are interested in my stuff. It's freeing from my side, simple from yours, and  is a complete reveal of the creative process, along with the finished work.

If you've an interest in my previous stuff, and new directions, then you'll like it.

If you're interested in the creative process then you'll like it.

If you want to support independent work that is unhindered by industry interference then you'll like it.

If you want to support one of those Patreon pages that is rarely updated and a smash and grab, then it's not for you.

Thanks for reading, thanks for the support (with or without pledging – but people that pledge are MORE SPECIAL TO ME)
